Privacy

Privacy should be understandable.

This policy explains the information Snapoki uses to operate optional accounts, verified rankings and Daily progress. Guest play does not require you to create a Snapoki account.

Information used for an account

If you choose Google sign-in, Snapoki receives the account identifiers needed to create your Snapoki profile, including a Google account identifier, email address, display name and profile image when provided by Google. Snapoki uses this information to identify your account and display your name/avatar in account-based features such as Rankings.

Sessions

After sign-in, Snapoki creates a random session token. The raw token is stored in a Secure, HttpOnly cookie in your browser. The database stores a hash of the token together with the account and expiration time. This allows Snapoki to recognize your signed-in session without exposing the raw session token to page JavaScript.

Game and ranking data

For signed-in ranked play, Snapoki stores verified result information such as the game, difficulty, mode, score, Ranking Points, elapsed time, hints used, play date and limited puzzle metadata needed to operate leaderboards and Daily progress. Guest finishes are not inserted into account Rankings.

Practice and solution use

Viewing a full Solution makes the current attempt ineligible for Rankings. Practice-only attempts are not converted into ranked results simply by hiding the solution.

Third-party services

Google Identity Services is used only for optional Google sign-in. The Google identity script is loaded when you open the sign-in flow rather than being required to play a puzzle. Snapoki is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure, which may process ordinary network and security information as part of delivering the site.

Cookies

The core account cookie is used to maintain your signed-in session. Snapoki does not require an account cookie to let you play as a guest. If additional analytics or advertising technologies are introduced, this policy and any required consent experience should be updated to describe them accurately.

Data retention and account questions

Operational data may be retained while needed to provide account features, preserve ranking integrity, prevent duplicate submissions and maintain the service. If account-management or deletion tools are added, this page will describe the available process.

Changes

Snapoki may update this policy when features or service providers change. Material changes should be reflected on this page so the description continues to match the product.
